Bellarine Peninsula Railway
Queenscliff

Experience an educational and enjoyable steam train ride travelling bewteen Queenscliff and Drysdale on the Bellarine Peninsula. The museum collection contains many Australian locomotives and carriages dating between 1870 and 1950.


Fort Queenscliff
King Street, Queenscliff

The largest and best preserved military fortress in Australia. The walls, turrents, keep and dry moat were constructed in 1881. Guided tours of the fort including the armoury and underground museum are available.

The Sea Pilots guide ships through the hazzardous Port Phillip Heads (The Rip). Take a look at the boats and equipment used by the Port Phillip Sea Pilots to access ships entering Port Phillip Bay.

An excellent collection of photographs, maps, paintings and relics from early Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale.


Queenscliff Maritime Museum
Weeroona Parade, Queenscliff

The museum looks at the history of Port Phillip Heads in a spacious and modern museum. The museum also contains a detailed history of the Port Phillip Sea Pilots and the Queenscliff life boat.
